I’ve flown several inexpensive electric R/C airplanes. This one “looked cool” and I wanted to give it a try. I made about a dozen attempts to fly it before it broke. It planted its nose each time. After a bit of tape, I tweaked the wings and even shaved a little weight off the nose. No joy. Absolute junk.

I purchased this as an xmas gift for my out-of-town nephew who was visiting. I was mortified that the wings broke in pieces during its first run. Needless to say, even though we glued it, it was still junk. The inside of this plane is like styrofoam and very fragile. It is not a suitable material for the damage that inevitably occurs when one operates the plane. Do not recommend.

Adding my experience to the multitudes who experienced dissatisfaction with this product. Like most everyone else, I found this impossible to fly, and I’ve used dozens of aircraft from a variety of manufacturers – by far this was the worst experience yet. First attempt it nose dived IMMEDIATELY to the ground – nose crushed in. Trimmed the rudders a bit… it spiraled to the ground and left wing ripped off. Clear taped it back on, re-trimmed to counteract a left-favoring spiral and it dipped so fast it actually hit the ground upside down and ripped the tailfin off. After a half dozen more attempts all ending in disasterous crashes and attempts to hobble the silly thing back together again I gave up as it was more tape than plane anymore. The only real positive thing that I can say is that the engines are amazingly powerful for this class of RC planes. I scavenged them from the wreckage and rigged them to another aircraft I had in my collection which is now able to do a vertical climb without stalling for some altitude. It seems that the only ones who have success with this product are those that have rigged it somehow – out of the box it’s useless. A shame, I had a lot of admiring comments about it’s appearance heading out to the field, only for the cheers to die away to jeers and snickers as it repeatedly smashed to the ground.
